Art Center, Getting off my lazy butt

Got those damned Art Center essays completed. First draft only, though. I sent it out to choice family and friends who I think might have the time, will, and ability to look it over at some point soon. So far, my ma says the first essay is confounding (not a good sign for my writing style) but she likes the second. 
I abhore writing essays on the computer. For some reason, my brain does not seem to process information in the same way, when it is typed and seen on a monitor. No clue why that is, though.
