Supernatural shows
I would really like to see a show like Supernatural.. or Buffy.. or Dresden Files, but good.
I really like the idea of modern day monster hunting. I am okay with a cheesy tone - it's kind of a cheesy idea. But I can't think of a show that does it well. There's a lot of modern occult (or urban fantasy if you prefer) books but the shows are typically kind of dreadful.
It's rainy today and very grey. Perhaps that is what put me in mind of monsters.
Last night Jill and I went to kempo with Pat and Jen. We had to make ourselves go; neither of us really wanted to. About half the class was stretching. But I think I feel better today for it. We could, potentially, even start working out Tuesday/Thursday as well.
We also watched some more Downtown Abbey last week. The only character I liked, because he actually does things instead of just endlessly talking about them, is apparently supposed to be villainous. Of course.
I'm feeling kind of fickle this morning. Too much coffee, I suspect.
