Ahh, im beginning to get over my moral dilemmas regarding being a bludging bastard who is getting the dole.
Cos im not a bludging bastard. Ive worked since i was 15 years old, n id say ive paid my way 99.9% of the time. So im gunna kick back after my interview with Jobsearch on Monday, apply for the jobs i want, do some exploring (which is cheaper than going to work given the Tube charge their highest Oyster prices during my old work transit hours.) and relax.
Spent three hours at the North Middlesex Hospital yesterday. They say my lung sounds fine and as long as the grinding continues to get better, everything should be ok.
Going to Manchester last weekend prolly didnt help, but i was so depressed, it was all i could do to cheer myself up and as id already bought my bus tickets...
Userscott had just bought himself a 1997 Land Rover Discovery ( The 'Disco', as seen in the B&W pic in the post below) and as such, the lot of us were "rollin' seven deep" in that motherfucker, with whichever poor bastards that got seated in the boot, feeling every speedhump like a cattleprod in the arse.
Was mad fun caning around though. We busted a new sewer tunnel, but it was so full of fast food grease that we left it alone after 200m. Did a buncha drains i'd already seen back in 2004, but managed to pull off Optimus Prime, easily one of the biggest drains ive ever been in. Lol, we had to form human 'Chains of Life' to avoid getting washed away when crossing the river flowing down its centre, which was mad japes. Also did the Hume Flume and the abandoned Harpurhey Bathhouse.
I need a new tripod and lights after two got squashed (some unco bastard stood on the tripod and i crushed the fluro when i fell head first down a steep hill) and the third washed away by an angry Bristolian drain.
Y'all might've seen that Lonely Island video
'Im On a Boat'... Well fuck that shit, i can do one better. Im in a Bathtub.

Yaz I stumbled across a band from Sydney, called Empty. Their fuckin' excellent! What you say? A good Sydney based industrial band? Yes. They sound like a mixture of Dismantled and Negative Format. Their single 'Never Get to You' and the B-side 'Forgotten Dreams' are both bloody brilliant.
