i'm on twitter! if you're interested, come on by! <3

i've been having a really great writing week - every day, i've hit my 1,000 words. the funny thing is that i don't really feel like my book is moving forward. maybe because i've decided to write it out of order? i'm not sure, but it feels like i've got miles and miles and miles to go. which is fine. i am enjoying the journey.

tonight, i'm going to see a movie at The Akron Film Festival! isn't nice that Akron has a film festival? i think so.

akron is just bursting with pride and cool people doing stuff. like my friend Juniper. she's been throwing this monthly dance party...called DANCE DANCE PARTY PARTY. and it's JUST FOR GIRLS!!! you pay $5 dollars, show up at this big dance studio, and she provides the DJ and the soda. then you just dance around with your friends for 3 hours, like a fake club. except you don't have to wear heels and worry about weird guys trying to dance up on your butt. that's the part of club i've always hated.

on saturday i'm going to have my very first sewing lesson. seriously, i have owned a sewing machine for like 2 years now and it's never come out of the box. luckily, my friend christy used to be a fashion designer, and she knows how to make all kinds of cute things like curtains, pillows and stuff. i also requested a bunch of books from the library. i'm really excited about this one:

looks like such cute projects inside! i've got to get going and order myself a bunch of lovely fabrics. i've got a gift certificate to RePoDePo, but i'm already saving my pennies for when i come back to NYC in May, so i can do damage at Pearl Soho, which is the most lovely, beautiful fabric and yarn shop in the world. see?

also, right next door is a little tea shop called Once Upon A Tart. le yum! i can't wait for may!!!
