I am enjoying myself, for once in a long time- I am enjoying being me- not just being with people or music or being by myself, but out and about- and talking with...well people of the female persuasion whom I am interested in...whatever the reason. Ironically, both night's conversations were initiated (at least more or less) at the same place- with ( Read more... )

people's criticisms of your dance moves are not their business. dance is always a personal expression. i think you're an awesome dancer because you don't try to do the same old moves that everybody else does. individuality is key when expressing yourself. someone who is going to make a negative remark about the way you dance is just someone who wouldn't be comfortable being alone.. being unique.. being thought of as 'weird' would disturb them.

dancing by yourself is fun, and when nobody else is out there, you're commanding the whole dance floor and everybody is looking at you.. just you.

its surprising to me how many people there are in this world that are not comfortable with being different, unusual, unique, trend-setting, strange.. they would crawl out of their skin if their situation was changed, instead of fitting in they stuck out.. they'd just die. lol

God I love to dance. I've even gotten to the point where I'll do it in a big group while completely sober. And I agree with the poster at the top- dancing is about personal freedom and expression. Fuck the people who may say something about the way you dance. Having fun is all that matters.

In the past 2 weeks I've gone from having no one interested in me to having 2 someones interested in me. I'm still trying to figure out how to handle it...

I guess you deal with it by remaining interesting to yourself- and most importantly, by doing what works and feels right ( ... )
