Update
My season at Mount Seymour starts again in just over a month. I am super excited. The first and only job i have ever wanted to get up at 6:00am for, stand in the rain and hitch hike up the mountain, and still enjoy it, kinda job. I am not working right now, just focusing on my studys and helping to build mine and David's business. I am super stoked for my future. Late this month should be the first month we see a big chunck of money coming in from all the months and months of studying and working the business.
David and I have also decided, that if the money from Primerica is enough to keep us comfortable and his income from his job, then whatever money I make with Mount Seymour - not a lot, about $1480 before taxes, will all go into my savings. There are three things I am saving up for that I would really love to have before June 2008. So say, i start saving the complete $1200 (after tax) come Jan 1st/08 until June 1st/08, $1200x 5 = $6,000. With that money, I will do/get three things:
1) pay for a round trip to Australia -June until October ($1800), $200 for luggage, $1000 for back up and spending money (I already have a job and free housing lined up)
2) enough money saved up for monthy automatic payments for my vaniers (teeth)
3) find a solution for my lop sided boobs - hopefully natural stuff works, or get my breasts done in April (Seymour season ends) and will have enough money saved up for automathic monthly payments for that.
I am not too stressed about the money for the last two, because while I am in Aussy, David will still be making lots of money off of Primerica and will take care of it if the saving doesn't. Also, to make that $1200 after April until June when Seymour is over and I MAY be in bedrest for my boobs, i will take up 1-2 days a week doing Sunday Night Blitz for Primerica and if I get a client (and I will) make $800 for a cupple hours.
It will also be our three year ani. the month I get my boobs done (if i do) so after a month, i hope they're well enough to celebrate come anni. day (29th)
Besides that, things are grand. If when I come back from Australia and i like it, I asked David if he would consider moving there in about 2.5 years and we have a business here making money so we could move, then open a new one there, and he said yes. I am just so unhappy when it isn't sunny. I don't get it but it is what it is.
When I have some extra cash i have decided I am going to buy a new guitar and take my friend up on those lessons.
I am still belly dancing.
Starting a high energy hip hop class.
Starting Seymour full time in a month.
Having a massive Halloween party at club Plush with 30+ friends
Still kinda writing. Not as much as I want. Reading too, need more of it.
I am a pretty happy gal.
Near future:
I want to re-invent myself. New look and what not, style etc. Just bored of this Tannis, and I want to be more like what I think I would like to be.
My tattoo touch ups, and another 2 added.
Getting my nose re-pierced and the inside of my ear pierced.
Traveling for 4 months
Life is pretty good.
