Garrus stared at his apartment. Everything was gone. A few of his spare heatsinks, his furniture, a few little tools he'd left behind. Not to mention the creatures crawling all over everything. He rubbed at the back of his fringe with a sigh. "...that little robot did all this?"

How he'd compressed a few spare heatsinks without exploding was beyond Garrus.

Shepard nodded silently and moved into the room. She picked over a turtle and succeeded in crushing two snails and a salamander. Gingerly, Shepard tried to scrape the small creatures off her shoe, but only managed to smear the silt on the floor in a line.

"Damn," Shepard said and gave up trying to keep clean.

"I hope there's no gators in the bathroom."

They were larger than the little bot, but at this point she wouldn't have put it past him.

"...do I even want to know what a gator is?"

Knowing their luck it was probably like a varren, but meaner. He started to pick his way across the room. He didn't doing a bang-up job of avoiding stepping on things, but he did... decently. He sighed softly and tried to scrape the remains of another gecko off of his foot.

"This is going to take forever to clean up."

"New rule," Shepard said as she moved to inspect the stack of cubes. "If you see a large creature of unidentifiable origin in the bathroom, just shoot first."

The cubes weighed more than she expected them to, and Shepard dislodged one with a shove. It tumbled down the pyramid and onto the ground with a heavy thud. Was that cloth?

Shepard almost groaned.

After a pause, she continued. "Might want to check whatever personals you had."

Her underwear and...was that her spare undersuit? Damn it.

"...he didn't."

Garrus hastily checked the apartment and discovered, to his horror, that he had. "...I guess I can forget about wearing anything on laundry day now. And we're going to have to steal some furniture."

"Shopping," Shepard started flatly, "sounds like fun."

The smell of Asphodel lingered on her armor but was rapidly being replaced by swamp stink. Shepard looked around at the floor and let out a slow sigh.

"We should steal a hose while we're at it."

"How likely is it for a human station to have anything for a turian to wear?" He started picking through the remains. Maybe he could salvage something. And maybe varren would fly one day. It could happen.

"...agreed. Although I wonder how long it's going to take this smell to bleed out."
