The door opened suddenly and Parker bounded through, beaming. She spotted Hardison on the couch and made a beeline for him.
"Hardison!" she announced joyfully, and then there was 120 pounds of blonde thief diving at him, enveloping him in a tight hug.

"Uh--Good morning to you, too, Parker."
Reply
"It's a wonderful morning!"
And she pulled back enough to reach up and pinch his cheeks.

She was high off her nut. That was the only explanation that made any sense. Whatever had gotten into the other people on the station had gotten into Parker and she was tripping like the day was long.
"Oh snap," Hardison quietly exclaimed and tried to scoot back. "Uh--good, that's real great. Say, do me a favor and don't dive off any roofs today."
"It's uh...rooftop appreciation day. So you just go up there and appreciate. No jumping. Gotta respect."
Reply
"Rooftop appreciation day?" she repeated, and leapt off the couch just as quickly as she'd dived onto it, grabbing Hardison's hand and attempting to pull him to his feet. "But diving off roofs is the best way to appreciate them! We have to celebrate!"

"Hardison, I have a question. Are you looking at that internet gossip again?" Eliot called as he entered the apartment. He poked his head around the corner and looked at the two of them uncertainly. Were they on a mission and no one had told him? He mopped his neck off with his bandanna.
Reply
"Yeah--I was! It's really interest--" Unfortunately, without imminent death on the way, Hardison was fairly easily distracted. "Wait, gossip? Man, this is a legitimate news-feed. The only way to get news on this station, I might add."
He looked back at Parker.
"Righ--oh, right? Uh, Parker?"

Luckily, the same thing that made it seem like such an awesome idea to hug Hardison and then jump off a roof was also making it difficult to work the window latch. It was just so hard to see, with all the shifting lights and soft focus surrounding everything.
Parker stuck the tip of her tongue out of the side of her mouth, ignoring Hardison and Eliot as she concentrated on opening the window.

"We aren't about to get shot at are we?" He asked, to just to be sure.
Reply
"Well probably not, there was this thing about violence but the robot dude said it was cool, not expecting any," Hardison continued idly. He had to think fast...get her away from windows. "Hey, uh, Parker--want some breakfast? I spilled mine, so I was gonna grab another bowl."
Reply
"Eliot!" she squealed, and bounded across the room, leaping at Eliot and hanging on like a limpet, her arms and legs wrapped around him. "I missed you!"
Reply
"What the hell, Hardison?"

He paused for a beat then looked aghast.
"Hey, did you just accuse me of drugging Parker? Eliot, man, there are just so many things wrong with that, even without the whole 'I'd never do that' angle."
Reply
"Eliot's here, Hardison!" she announced, sliding down and going over to Hardison to pull him over by one hand. "Come on, it's group hug time."
Reply
"I'm just trying to get an idea of what the hell is going on here." He straightened his shirt out when Parker hopped down and looked up just in time to see her dragging Hardison over.
"You're saying other people are like this too? And a robot is saying it'll all be fine?" He did not look pleased with the prospect in the least. In fact, he looked like he was going to turn around, track down the robot, and ask it a few questions.

At least Parker wasn't by the window?
"Yeah--s'like someone laced the air with LSD," Hardison answered and stifled a grimace as Parker pulled all three of them into an uncomfortable hug.
"And uh...think he said somethin' about it wearing off shortly," Hardison continued and tried not to inhale. His information was sketchy but, to be fair, he hadn't had that long to look into it.
