Shepard had found this facility back during one of her initial intel sweeps. While sparring with Garrus was normally more than enough to keep in shape, recent events had made that option one that she didn't really want to utilize. Instead, in an effort to keep her routine somewhat routine, Shepard decided to utilize the local facilities. Unfortunately local was a relative term, really, and the trip involved a transporter.
Still, as she swung and struck the boxing rig, the satisfying creak it gave made the hike out worth it. Apparently, she just really needed to slug the hell out of something and this was doing a fair job of handling it.
