Okay, so ... stealth is going to be a liiiittle more difficult like this, but Carolina's damned if she's going to sit about and mope. Lack of armor, enhancements, and the addition of these silly hooves be damned; she was going to get some recon done one way or another.
So she's attempting to stalk Wanda. As a pony. At this point, it's more practice then any perceived threat from this mystery woman. She's keeping to the shadows, trying to walk lightly but that clip clop was insane trying to muffle.
Sure! OMG pony Carolina eeedoesthemathJanuary 3 2012, 06:02:41 UTC
It took Wanda a little while to notice that the sound of steps in the street weren't just her own. She noticed after a while that they were off-set and no, they weren't an echo. It took her longer to realize this because they didn't seem like they were coming from someone bipedal, someone with regular human shoes.
Once she realized the difference, however, Wanda was immediately on her guard. With Loki running around as free as he pleased, an alternate of her father doing the same, and insane robots also on the loose, she wasn't going to be stupid.
Abruptly, she dropped down in place under the guise of tightening a strap on her boot. With the collar of her coat and her hair falling over her eyes to hide most of her face, she glanced back to see if she could get a peek at who was behind her.
:D there was possible way I could resist. None whatsoever.whatvr_it_takesJanuary 3 2012, 06:10:21 UTC
Carolina's no fool, and she knows she doesn't have the kind of camoflaug the chameleon armor effect would give her, so she's forced to carefully maintain her cover behind solid objects, like bushes and retainer walls and the occasional bench.
The fact that she was bright blue in an otherwise fairly stark environement didn't help either.
When Wanda stops, Carolina dives behind a bush and huddles there, watching through the scant spaces between leaves.
It's too late. That bright blue and red are just too obvious for her to not catch. Besides, whoever it was, they hadn't pulled their...tail or hair or something entirely.
Wanda got to her feet, boot fixed, and continued walking. She would turn around when she felt had less places to hide.
Carolina, for the moment completely oblivious that her tail is showing, watches Wanda and remains in her cover for a few moments before venturing out to follow. She's thinking she hasn't been noticed yet, but still keeps an eye out for available cover.
It was so much harder like this, but a large part of her welcomed the challenge.

Maintaining a casual, easy pace, she continued to head down the street, and upon turning the corner, ducked inside the nearest doorway to see if whoever following her would come looking for her.
She was somewhat concerned that perhaps she had stumbled upon Loki, or rather that he had stumbled upon her. Even if he had some big plans in the works, she doubted he would pass up an opportunity to mess with her.

Carolina does indeed come around the corner in pursuit ... and stops. Dammit, she'd already lost her quarry. She continues at a more careful pace, looking for clues as to where the other woman went.

It was too late. Wanda had already seen the small blue and red unicorn move into view, looking particularly determined. This explained her sense of feeling watched, and why the steps behind her had been irregular.
As her hiding place wasn't particularly well placed, and knowing being found was only a matter of time, Wanda stepped into view.
"Was there something you needed?" she asked evenly, feeling only slightly less silly because she had already encountered two talking cats and the unicorn's behavior suggested more intelligence than a common horse.
The voice is familiar to Wanda as well, but she finds it hard to link the conversation about galaxy security and the like with...a unicorn.
Perhaps it has...other skills?
"I would appreciate if you practiced on someone else," Wanda replied mildly. "But yes, thanks, I'm settling in. Decided to get my bearings a bit more and explore some of the residential zones. Is this the one you live in?"
"There's a serious lack of targets around here. I just take what I can get." She gives a little pony shrug, and then looks at their surroundings a little more with the question.
"No, I just like to keep familiar with the surroundings."
Wanda shrugged her shoulders as well. Carolina couldn't very well practice on her anymore anyway. Not now that she'd been revealed.
"It seems we're of like mind then," she replied, and then, giving the pony a more critical look, continued, "I have to admit you're not...what I pictured, Agent."
Carolina can't help but plop down on her haunches and heave a sigh. "Trust me, I'm not usually like this. You can thank the teleporters." She doesn't sound too happy.
"It's reassuring to know your government doesn't trust the safety of the galaxy to ponies then," she replies lightly, giving Carolina another careful look. It was fascinating, though ridiculous. If the teleporters weren't so convenient and essential she might avoid using them, but other means of transportation simply weren't readily available from what she could tell.
"A little taller, a little more bipedal, and usually in damn expensive high-tech armor." She's returning that critical look, wondering just what sort of skills this woman possessed.

"Just keeping my skills up." Much, much harder to do without armor. "You settling in all right?"

If she had, what had happened to it? Had it changed as well? Or simply fallen off of her?
