[He'd told her an hour, but he didn't truly have the patience for the wait. He arrived well ahead of time, scoped out the cafe, the outlying zone. He didn't quite pace a hole in the floor, but he probably could have with enough concentrated effort.
He couldn't truly say why he'd wanted to continue their conversation on the network. It was hardly more secure, not with Hypatia's eyes and ears everywhere imaginable.
Finally, he took up a position along one wall, leaning casually against it, and simply resigned himself to wait out the remaining minutes.]
