Who: Azula and Eleanor
What: Bonding over fire powers.
Where: Garden Zone 13.
When: I am not sure? Today, maybe?
Warnings: There may be some violence! Also Azula.
Eleanor hadn't meant to disturb the dinosaur.
She'd gone to Garden Zone 13 intent on going for a swim, since the little ocean reminded her of the parts of Rapture she'd actually liked. But when she'd stepped off the teleporter, she'd noticed rather large motion in the trees at the top of the cliff, and curiosity insisted that she go and see what it was.
What it was, apparently, was a small allosaurus, maybe fifteen feet long and ten feet tall, eating an animal that was too torn up to be recognized. Eleanor discovered this by mis-judging her teleport and coming up all of about five feet from the creature and its dinner. Needless to say, it wasn't pleased.
Perhaps a minute or so later she came bounding out of the trees, the creature twenty or so yards behind her. She flung herself off the cliff that was 'luckily' only twenty yards or so above the ground, landing in a roll that made her suit clatter and clank as her helmet and various bits of equipment smacked into sand and stone. And then she was up and turning, one arm curled into her stomach, apparently injured.
The beast was behind her, and it jumped off the cliff as well, hitting the ground hard enough to make everything in the area bounce a few inches into the air. It paused, roaring at Eleanor, and then started towards her at a lumbering run...only to smack into an invisible wall as Eleanor threw her hand up, smacking at it with her telekinesis. It hissed, biting at the empty air, and then swung its head hard enough to break her concentration, actually sending the teen stumbling back a step.
Eleanor frowned, and then after a second pointed at a nearby shrug, and a fireball lanced out from her palm, igniting the plant. Several more fireballs, and half the nearby plants were burning. It didn't stop the creature, but it slowed down, warily navigating the fire as Eleanor continued backing up towards the ocean.
"Come on, go away! I don't want to have to hurt you!" She shouted out towards the animal, which ignored her, of course...
