[ His lips twitch only the faintest bit at that, and he relaxes just a little bit, waving a hand at her.

At the mention of One, he nods; he might outrank her, but he isn't wanting to try taking command of her people, either. The potential Covenant here haven't shown themselves to be a threat, so there's no need for a potential power struggle. He trusts One to handle her people while he handles his, and they figure out what the hell happened. ]

Gotta admit that I'd feel a little more comfortable if we went missing somewhere within charted space, or with an idea of where we are.

Black Team's done it's share of uncharted runs before. Hate to admit it, though, but this seems out of even Black Team's league. What little I've seen in between hiccups in the lighting, this super structure isn't like any alien construct I've come across. Hell, it's more human than anything.
