Um... the Luidaeg took me out to return Con-- [ she chokes on the word a little bit, takes a deep breath, and presses on ] Connor's seal skin to his family. I got home, had some coffee, and then I was here.

[ And the fact that she had coffee within the past hour is the only reason she's not just cussing everyone out. ]

Oh! Yeah, you must be new. Well okay, I can explain. Basically you're...in another universe or realm. There's a spacetime rift that has been pulling people from other worlds into this one. All of us essentially fell through that rift and ended up here. And, unfortunately there's no way back home right now.

But she's happy to let people here believe they're twins - Toby has no doubt her mother would've gone with a name like May if she'd had a twin, after all. ]
