[The feed opens with Shepard sitting, arms crossed, in her favorite nondescript room on Sacrosanct. Given how long she's been hanging back off the network, there's good odds that most of the civilians on the station have never seen her (and therefore, can't identify her)...so it's a little curious that she's just decided to post a video feed ( Read more... )

Someone?

[She just stares like that's the most absurd thing she's ever heard.]

You going to try to be more specific or are we going to play twenty questions?

[Not a name, but one better. Someone helpful? This was new.

She was too stressed to be anything but irritable, but she was appreciative nonetheless. She deciced to communicate that with a short nod.]

That'll do, and only one question down.

Got a name?

We've wasted more than enough time, Mordin.

In case you forgot: we weren't on a pleasure cruise.

Why is it always shooting people with you?

Robots? Not people.

And shooting? I don't argue with results. Bullets get results.

He thinks, speaks, has his own mind, emotions, he's pretty much the definition of a person!

And bullets get dead people, which is fine if your intended results are murder.

All those little criteria for person-status? Programmed into him. By a real person.

And bullets, in this case, just turn him back to scrap.

Now, if you're going to continue to whine about murdering robots all day, this conversation is over.

No need to be concerned. I took care of it.

He is off the station, now.

Well, isn't that just reassuring?

I feel much better now.

[Shepard is just staring at Hypatia's hologram.]

Don't suppose you have any relevant data you'd like to be particularly forthcoming with?

Apparently I don't have that option at the moment, anyway. Doesn't mean I can't put a few through his processor later.

[And because the earlier text message was so helpful....]

So, you want to use the rift to leave?

... If he's fixed, what would be the purpose?

Something I'm trying. Difficult to pinpoint when it's open, however.

Preventative measures. He's an unknown quantity whose proved himself potentially hazardous on multiple occasions.

You think it has reasonable odds of success?
