(no subject)
Wow...The Passion was a gory, teary-eyed, over-exagerrated, anti-semetic movie. Yes...all of that. And I was afraid to fall asleep last night =( AND I was home alone. I thought the movie was a little scary at some parts, I think mostly because I don't really have a full understanding of the death of Jesus Christ and how it came to happen and how he died. I think I was expecting more of a history of Jesus' life, rather than 2 hours of him being beaten until his skin is falling off and then crucified...and then another 20-25 minutes of him nailed to the cross enduring THE slowest death. It's definitely a movie I would NOT see again. Jon was trying to explain to me what was in the Bible and what he does not remember seeing, and there were some pretty played out scenes. I did cry, at certain parts. Sometimes it was more sickening to my stomach rather than scary or sad. Half way through the movie, I had to start looking away because I just couldn't handle the graphics. I'm glad I saw it, to at least see what all the controversy is about, and now I know. So, if you are going to see it, just come prepared...
I have to call Long's today at 1:00. Lor thinks I pretty much got the job because that's what her boss made it sound like. But we'll see. I mean, it's not really my ideal job because I think I should be working somewhere that pays more than $8.50/hr just because of my work experience. It's something right now though, and while I'm working, I'll just keep looking for something better. Kathy is still allowing me to work at the temple. I love her. She wants me to find a job so bad because she knows how desperate I am, but she'll still let me work for her whenever I have time and keep me on payroll. She pays me well, but the problem is, they aren't very long hours. But again, it's still money coming in until something better comes along. Right now...I have $30 in my bank account so you can see why I will take anything at this point.
What do I do with $30 and a one-year anniversary coming up?!!! If anyone has suggestions...please...don't hesitate to respond haha. Okay...I gotta go pee pee and eat some food (but that was too much info, right? haha)
