Rand knows I wish Americans would try to be more self-sufficient, but certainly if there's a reason for government to exist, it's to remove a 5+ ton whale carcass that washed ashore next to someone's house.

Also, I never thought I could hate Paris Hilton more, but yeah. Reduced to (luxury) house arrest for basically being really nervous about jail. And she wasn't even in with the general population! She was isolated in the Just for Pussies wing. I wonder how much knob she's slobbed in the LA County Sheriff's Department?
