MIDWEEK MIKU MADNESS
... and some Rin too, I guess. Recent Nicovideo stuff - also, I've added a few other maintainers and some information as to how to access the IRC channel if you're of a mind to spaz out in real-time with the rest of us.
Basically, about five different tracks popped up on nicovideo all of last night and they're all so good I didn't stand a chance of waiting. Thus, mini-update for you.

An absolutely rocking track; the Miku is so bizarrely tuned that she almost sounds like Luka but it works beautifully, and the underlying track is a roaring success. If you do not get fired up from the initial piano and drums onslaught you are DEAD TO ME. One of the tracks this update from the Vocaloid Original Album #3, which would explain the professionalism.

The oldie of the update; some of you may have seen me laughing over this male fandub of a classic Miku track. While it's good - and hilarious - it's not nearly on par with this older version, which is a fantastic almost club-like listen full of strong piano lines and one of the best soft lulls I've come across.

A happy, poppy, Engrish-filled piano and guitar track from Miku that basically hits all my pings and is an instant favorite that's guaranteed to make me smile, though I'd be hard pressed to state exactly why beyond the sheer joy and exuberance of the song and the awesome melody line provided by the manic pianist.

The second track from Vocaloid Original Album #3, this is another fast and furious track with a lot more typography rubbish than the first one (still tired of it), but is just as driving a pace and great a listen and also notable for the more than passable 'giant enemy crab' tag.

We round off the update with this gorgeous slow track. While it runs the risk of dragging on enough that it may lose some people, it's a perfect lazy slow day listen and comes equipped with a pretty, pretty, pretty video. Expect one hell of a load, though, as it's a huge-ass file.
