... What it says on the subject. Apologies in advance for all the different emotions this post will surely evoke in you. Some stuff from recent rankings and also a couple of obscure-ish ones.
IROHA UTA [JACK]
いろは唄を歌ってみました。【じゃっく】
Starting off strong with yet another cover of an old classic, but unlike the hundred others floating about, Jack's manages to stand out thanks to a brand new, shiny PV and a really really awesome vocal performance. His singing is powerful and sensual, but he doesn't overdo the "UNF UNF THIS IS A HAWT SONG" aspect, which I greatly appreciate. Bonus incentive: Tolie on chorus/harmonizing.

【Gero】ショタショタ★ナイトフィーバーを歌ってみた【roro】
A parody of the ever famous LukaLuka★Night Fever, in case you haven't caught on. In which Roro challenges Gero to sing like a young boy and... hilarity ensues. There isn't much I can say about this song without completely spoiling the experience, but I assure you you will not regret clicking on this. Also Roro-tan's shota voice is pretty impressive. :Dd
FROM K TO F [KOGEINU]

Under the cut because I already shared this at utattemita, but it deserves as much exposure as possible. Kogeinu tweeted it a few hours ago saying that the person who it is dedicated to is not around. If that's not enough to clue you in, this is from Y to Y with the lyrics changed, from Kogeinu to Faneru. Kogeinu sounds like he's on the verge of tears throughout most of it and it's all very emotional and beautiful. I would be lying if I said I wasn't teary eyed by the end of it, so... listen at your own risk. ._.
ETA: Aaaaand he just pulled the plug on it. He says it was never his intention to cause trouble for anyone with this and so he erased it. Ffffffff. It's still up at Nicosound right now, though, so listen/rip while you can.

You probably remember these ladies from the super famous 1+1=4 Magnet version. If you don't, do yourself a favor and click on that link or just... listen to this song and be amazed at their gorgeous, manly voices. che: Sakurai sings Gakupo's and the green Len parts, and Hitori sings Kaito's and the orange Lens. Just... hnnngh.
CENDRILLON [SEKIHAN & PIKO]
【赤飯×ピコ】サンドリヨンを歌いました【赤ピコ飯まー☆】
For yet another trappylicious cover! If you've never head Piko's singing before, this is a pretty good song to start, but I guess I should link to their own 1+1=4 Magnet like I did before. I am not too fond of Sekihan's part here, but Piko is even more mindblowingly girly than usual and that alone makes this worth a listen (even if the backing track's volume is too high for my liking).

ofurotaimu reminded me how GAR and epic this guy is and how much I love him, so here, have my favorite cover of my favorite Papiyon song by him. Manly powerful singing with a badass guitar arrange (also by Hagane Tsuwamono) = HAPPY FLOOR. *_*

Fresh from this week's ranking! One of my favorite Miku+Luka duets as sung by two wonderfully silky and pleasant voices. I'd actually never heard Saiya before this and now I feel like I should remedy this because I really like how soft and nice her pitch is. As for Wotamin... well, we already know she's good and this song is not the exception.

Aaaahhh feelings!!!1 I love this song and I love Vivian but for some reason... they just don't work together, for me. It's 100% a personal thing because Vivi's singing is great as always, otherwise this cover wouldn't be high up there in the ranking, but... yeah. JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES. :|d

元同僚が「BossDeath」歌ってみた【柿チョコ】
I AM IGNORING ALL OF THE BOSSDEATH COVERS THAT HAVE BEEN PARADING ACROSS THE RANKING AND PIMPING THIS INSTEAD, because it is my favorite version after Valshe's and more people need to listen to it. Kaki Choco does a perfect job at getting across all the angry-vengeful feelings, then the poppy, catchy chorus, and then the sad, nostalgic bit at the end. And adding her own style to it all. Seriously, give this a try.
SECRET ~DARK OATH~ [TORIKO]
秘蜜〜黒の誓い〜 歌ってみた＊鳥子
That crazy tragic wingfic Hitoshizuku song with the gorgeous Suzunosuke art, yeah. I was undecided on this cover at first. Toriko's singing is beautiful and emotional (especially during the Len parts), but it feels a little too breathy for me, at times. But overall it is really pretty and the spoken dialogue was rather impressive, so have at it.

"OH MY GOD FLOOR NO, NOT ROLLING GIRL AGAIN!!!" Yes, I know. BUT PLEASE BEAR WITH ME AND CLICK ON THIS. It is Taitson and Taitson can do no wrong in my eyes. It is a pretty awesome (and different) cover, I promise.
