(no subject)
My Spring Break has most likely already begun!!!! I came into school to find that we had minimal power and were running mostly on the emergency generator. They kept the kids in the auditorium and then sent them to homeroom where they stayed until we dissmissed them around 10am.
The school has no power besides emergency lights that were lit. They didn't have heat nor could they cook the food for lunch. They kept us teachers there until noon. They probably won't have school tomorrow because they said the problem was underground and it would be highly unlikely that it could be fixed before tomorrow or even next week. Thankfully (or maybe unthankfully...hehe), next week is spring break and we had off anyways. But it's nice to have a half day.
Can you imagine how chaotic the kids will be if they do have school tomorrow?!?!? UGH!
