I'm lovin it

So today was my third day of training at Sonny's. Each day gets better and better. Today i was taking the orders and running the food and EVERYTHING! It was so much fun. A lot of the people that work there get stressed very easily and that makes it not so fun to be around them. Stress and negativity breed more stress and negativity. But hopefully we will all start functioning as a team and "git r done". For the most part it seemed that all the people i waited on, with the exception of one table, were extremely pleased with my service. I've come to find that serving older people is not so much fun. I need to figure out a way to relate to them. I think maybe they feel like since i'm much younger than them i don't get it or something. So i need to find some way to break down that wall. Any insight would be much appreciated. But yeah, it just really sucked because i was the one waiting on the tables and since i'm in training i got NONE of the tips. and most of the people i waited on that were pleased with the service we tipping upwards of $5. what a sham! but i think i may have gotten a what they call a "call party" out of the night. a call party is a party that asks for you when they come to eat. this would be most excellent because these people tipped well! HOORAY! But anywho. I'm really excited about this whole thing if you can't tell!
Well i think i'm gonna go study my training manual and get some sleep.
