I just wanted to share my work silliness of the day.
We have an representative here from a group of investors who is visiting sites and doing that kind of admin crap that makes you want to pour tobasco sauce in your eyes to get out of it. He brought his female 'friend' with him and they are hitting the county fair while they are here. She is from across the pond.
Anywhoo, she was speaking to the AA who's mother is English (and returns home on visits often) on the differences between US and GB.
As AA escorts them out the door she can be heard to say, "Oh Love, I watered your pot plant. It was dry."
CFO, AS, and A/P all come out of their offices. WHAT?!?!
In the US it is a potted plant, a pot plant is a marijuana plant.
Libi is DYING! Can't breathe, tears running down face, helplessly giggle snorting.
