Warriors

I went to see a movie last night that I've been trying to find on DVD for months. It's a cult flick from the 70s about gangs in NYC and specifically, a particular gang caught in enemy territory and trying to make it back to their home turf on Coney Island. It's based on an ancient memoir written by a Greek soldier with a similar premise. I was really excited to see that it was playing at 11:30PM at a local arts theatre. We got there late because Phil insisted on going and insisted on running first so we were basically just in time but we had to sit near the front. I had a headache but it was okay because we had a lot of room around us and I was comfortable. At the last possible minute these three people come in and sit directly behind us and they were drunk off their asses and completely noncomps. They whispered and laughed through the entire thing, what is meant to be a very dramatic and tense movie. I could hear them pouring alcohol repeatedly and shushing them did no good. I had paid money to have this movie I'd been really, really wanting to see again ruined for me. I had a splitting headache by that time and I didn't want to leave and lose my money (though I was very close to doing so) and I didn't want to go out and grab the management because I was sitting in front and everyone would know it was me and these people were already pissed and antagonistic so if they got to stay it would be worse. By the time I got home my headache was a full-blown migraine and Phil had left thinking the movie a comedy somehow because it was impossible to focus with people constantly tittering. What would you have done?
