I keep trying to think of something to post, and I keep going back and staring at
that picture of the gay Iranians being hanged. I feel like I should say something about it, but I don't know what, and all I can do is sit here and be sad.
Makes you wonder why we're so worried about equal marriage rights when people are still being killed for being queer, and not just in Iran (albeit not with government sanction in most other places, true). Shouldn't we have focused on getting those kind of equal rights first? I'd sort of like some federal nondiscrimination. And, while I'm at it, I'd like the ERA, please.
Sigh.
