Only in my dreams

It's always frustrating when I dream about a movie or a book that doesn't actually exist, because then I wake up really wanting to read or see it now.

That's what happened in my dream last night. After a rather icky portion of dream involving a severed finger in someone's food, I found myself outside a store next to where the movie theater used to be in the town I grew up in. (In real life, this store now sells mailing supplies and Beanie Babies.) In the window was a poster reading "The Green World," and a sign next to it indicated the poster was for sale. It was partially obscured by other things in the window, so I could only see the words on the poster, and not what the poster was of.

"Ooh," I thought. "It's probably a poster for Dar Williams' album The Green World. I want it."

So, in my dream, I went in and asked the woman working there about the poster. It turned out that it was not a Dar poster -- it was a very plain-looking white poster with a close-up of Keira Knightley's face, which was one of those very light pictures fading into the white background. It turned out that it was the poster for a movie called The Green World, which starred Keira Knightley and Guinevere Turner (from Go Fish). She showed me the movie and the related book. Apparently this movie was some kind of lesbian period piece, 1800s with nobility and all that, and Keira Knightley and Guinevere Turner were wearing big floofy dresses and kissing and generally being very gay together.

And then I woke up.

Doesn't that sound like a good movie? Dude, I'd watch that. Somebody should make it. You think?

In other news, the Kaylee bases that eruthros sent me twelve skillion years ago are sitting on my desktop begging me to make icons of them. Kaylee icons, Kaylee icons... I want Kaylee icons. I should make them.
