Fannish television and other things.

The good news: I seem to be getting over this stupid cold. The bad news: I seem to have done something unpleasant to my knee, such that stairs are really no fun and make me cry, and the apartment has two floors. So I have been resting and icing and compressing and elevating and taking NSAIDs and I got one of those knee strap things and it's not feeling much better yet but hopefully it will soon. It better. Because not using stairs is not exactly an option, unfortunately.

We watched Sherlock last night, although at this point it's a lot more like hatewatching Sherlock, because I just... do not care what happens to any of these characters, and I find Sherlock actively irritating. I used to like this show! I don't know what happened! We also watched all of Yuri on Ice even though I basically detest all ice-related sports (so sorry, Check Please and hockey RPF fandom), because
lysimache actually likes figure skating and because all of fandom loves it. I liked it well enough and it was very cute, although I admit I am confused as to whether the main characters are actually together.

Also, hey, we wrote thank you notes and printed wedding pictures and put some of them in frames and used one of those websites where you can send people a postcard of one of your photos to send all our guests a postcard. Hopefully that will turn out well.

Next on the fannish agenda: replying to comments, reading the Cap-IM Holiday Exchange fics (I have read exactly one, the gift for me), and maybe trying to write a couple Fandom Stocking ficlets before Friday. Whew.
