yet another lawn-emo-cut itself joke on my fb friends list, only i'm too burned out to explain why posting it is stupid. not just the 'old joke that was never really that clever to begin with' or the 'perpetuating stereotypes' but the 'potentially pissing off/hurting anyone you know who uses self-harm to cope.' i'm so tired of explaining this to people, especially because i don't like being told that my sense of humor is inadequate. it's random, yes, but not impaired.
so, all of you (who already know this): jokes with both 'emo' and 'cutting' in them aren't funny just for having those two words. self-cutting lawns aren't funny anymore, either.
