Only one week to go...!

With only one week to go until I leave for Japan, I figured it was about time I took care of some little things that I've been putting off all this time, because it just didn't seem necessary yet. And even now, it felt like I could still put them off... xD In attempt to keep my nerves in check, I just went into some sort of denial that I'll be going to Japan really soon! While at the same time I'm still stressing out of over it! Somehow I just want to start packing already, but on the other hand it sounds a little ridiculous to do that already.

So, I decided to take care of two other tasks first!

(1) Get my travel insurance sorted out. Since I didn't add the worldwide coverage to my standard health insurance, I kind of really had to get myself a proper travel insurance this time. I don't expect anything will happen, but... I'd better not take the risk. Well, it's not like I really put all that much thought in it... I really just went with the easy way and opted for the travel insurance that's offered by the same company who takes care of my health insurance. Because that just seemed the easiest way (and the conditions were all right, so...) As I was setting this up, I also realized I probably wasn't insured for the last couple days of my trip to Japan in 2015, because it appears standard travel insurance only lasts 60 days...? Although I was with a different company then, I do think that rule is pretty general... Well, oops! So, since I know now... I'll have to pay extra because I'm away for more than 2 months...!! >_<;;

(2) Bought a JR Railpass. I would've bought this one already, if it wasn't for the fact the the yen was pretty strong some weeks ago and I kind of hoped it'd get a little cheaper as time went on. Well, it's not much, but the price went down with about 10 euros in the past week, so... that's nice! I guess... (although if the yen's weaker that also means I'll receive less euros for the work I've done... so in the end it doesn't really matter...) Oh well, at least I won't see the money disappear from my account yet. I completely forgot these sites don't accept iDeal of paypal, so... I actually had to pay with a credit card aka my dad's credit card. Well, I hadn't returned it yet, so... xD And he was on the phone, so I couldn't really ask permission. (Not that he'd care, as long as I return the money...)

Damn, I've been wasting too much time! I should get back to work, or I'll never hit my goal today! ^o^
