Last day was wretched as all days were this year.
Freedom! I renounce gratuitous complaints and slavery to certain thought patterns and gratefully move on to post-adolescent calm.

also: sometime during the year i turned really self-righteous and uppity. must work on that too.

alerts, alerts: one more day!
i'm wearing a couture slip i dug up from several years ago. and i just gave myself a small spa treatment after going swimming. all in all if i can live through the next day and finish what i began unwillingly i'm going to celebrate.

this weekend was alive. friday night: movies with brad and morgan. saturday: last time at vox, picked up an award, met up with marion at the park, a marta fire forced us to walk for 20 minutes on the side of peachtree street (the daisies were the nicest part), took her to a chinese meal and a suburban locale (discover mills) and went home. sunday: ( Read more... )

I can't take anyone's pretension seriously because I'm struck with the thought that they're going to die too.

i just swam in an unblemished pool of water and why not.
2 more days of school. This year has been tepid at best.
But today it's beautiful outside and a little restoring.

last chorus concert Ever was tonight; I almost fainted under the lights and bodies.
I left my cell phone off after the concert and went to get coffee with some college folk back in town and my mom called me 10 times and was convinced I had been kidnapped.
3 more days! jubilation!

five days.
it's like a countdown to the new year, or the mandatory voice from a horror movie.
i've been watching videos and plays all this week at school.
gosh if this could all be over now i'd be so happy. brilliant observations.
