i can't believe how goddamn productive this past summer was. I mean, I had it all written down and I was pretty positive but to sit back now and see all the things that I was able to accomplish is really spectacular if i do say so myself. between my finals, working full time at the film festival, getting engaged, planning a wedding via another continent, writing my dissertation to complete my masters studies....and now getting married to the best boy i have had the honour of knowing is well, amazing. i feel so happy and proud of myself and i hope, no i know, that this is going to give me the motivation to work hard when i return from my 3 weeks in nyc. i'm going to really focus on getting a film researcher/currator job in glasgow or here in edinburgh and i am going to take a french or italian leson (italina mightbe easier because of my espanol). how fun.
my stomach is in knots and i just cant wait to board the plane tomorrow and get home to nyc. its going to be great. my friends, my family, my love, all together again.
