Questions and Critique

Feb 23, 2010 21:20

First off, I'm glad I found this community!

I've been doing an on-again off-again legacy for some time now, but I get horribly distracted very often. To me, a Legacy is fun, but at the same time, I also find it restrictive when you're writing for an audience.

A part of me has been wanting to dabble in writing an actual Sims-based story for some time, but I've been questioning the flow of things. So many people have so many different styles, that I'm just too nervous to jump right into it and give it a shot. Should it be pic-spam with minor narrative notes? Mostly wordy but with images as accent? Etc.

Do any of you writers, especially for actual Sims based stories, have any words of wisdom to share on how you guys operate and go about your postings?

Also, because I'm new, here's an obligatory post to my Legacy archives. Everyone is welcomed to take a gander, and if there's any advice or critiques that may be offered, please throw them my way.
