Maturing
When you think about asking a girl out, there are a lot of questions in your mind. I remember a time when all of my questions boiled down to, "does she like me, and can I overcome my nervousness enough to find out?" These days my questions all seem to boil down to, "is dealing with any woman really worth the trouble?" That probably makes me old, bitter, and cynical.
