Prosperity Challenge - 7.1 (Days/Years 19-21 - Burkett)

I took a small break from simming after becoming completely obsessed with The Kingdom of Lothere. It's extremely awesome and I highly recommend it unless you have a busy life and can't afford to get totally sucked into a page-turning medieval sims soap opera. Anyway, now I'm back with more Winterfell updates! I took these pictures over a month ago, hopefully I can remember what was going on.

If he would ever look around and notice it, Alvin Burkett was living a pretty good life. He was never lonely, since the house was full of people paying him for the privilege to hang out with him and his gadgets. Girls wearing swimsuits were very abundant after the installation of the hot tub out back.

And even though he was a teenager living on his own, he never had to do a single chore, thanks to the robots he'd designed to help feed, pick up after, and protect him and his customers. They even watered the plants.

But Alvin was far too focused on his goals to sit back and enjoy what was around him. He invented a machine that allowed him to work day and night, around the clock, on improving his robotics skills.

He had studied, and tinkered, and practiced for weeks on end. And finally, though he had feared he'd been chasing an impossible dream, it came to him. He knew how to make a robot that would not only feed, clean, and garden all in one, but he'd thought of a way to make a robot that could think. That was the quality above all others that he needed.

Once he'd had his breakthrough, the construction took surprisingly little time. He wasn't too late!

He regarded the motionless robot with apprehension. Had he really done it? He pushed the on button hesitantly.

"Hello," the robot said. "My name is Jonathan. How can I help you?"

Alvin wasted no time. "Jonathan, I'm so glad to meet you," he said. "I need you to run the family business for me until I get back from college. There's not much to it, and you'll have the run of the place. Deal?"

"Deal."

And with that, Alvin was free.
