Signals From Strangetown
Today I played the Loner family in Strangetown.
When we last saw them: Holly and Jeevika became best friends, Holly was promoted to Senior Manager and both Jeevika and Milony reached the age of hormones and angst.
Alvin. He's actually a sim version of one of my own real life cats. He's a precious <3 <3 <3
Angel. Doing what she does best.
Juan: I do believe this girl may be flirting with me... but based on her facial features, I also think we may be related...
She's not flirting with you, and you're not related. Relax.
Holly loves to spy on all her weird neighbours. She never has any use for the telescope when the stars are out, but spying on neighbours - she loves it!
Holly: "Would you mind getting out of our bedroom? I'd like to make love to my husband before he expires from old age, please."
Ajay: "Hey! I'm not that old!"
Just so you know which twin is which. This is Milony.
And this is Jeevika. They're not identical, as you can see. The big difference between them is their noses. Jeevika's is much smaller.
Angel: *plots nose biting*
Now that they're both teens, Milony has decided that she and her buddy Al Davis should be more than just friends. She asked him out on a date and she was very happy when he said yes. She hadn't realized he'd been feeling the same way!
Before too long, they admitted to one another that it wasn't just a simple crush. Their feelings went much deeper than that. Aww, young love!
Milony: He could at least make an effort to dress up for a fancy restaurant, couldn't he?
Sweetie, those are literally the best clothes that he owns. His family doesn't have as much money as yours. Be more understanding.... it doesn't really matter what he wears, does it?
Milony: I know.... maybe I could buy him something nice for Christmas?
That's the spirit!
Look at Al being a smitten kitten! It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside that he thinks Milony is beautiful on the outside as well as on the inside <3

Cherry poppin' goodness on the first date. Still, I'll allow it, as they are in love. These two family sims were simply meant to be....
Holly, unwinding after a long day at the office.
Al: "So... wanna go inside and play doctors...?"
Milony: "Can't. Jeevika's entertaining the headmaster of some private school. If I rumpled a bedspread, I think her head would explode."
Al: "Wait - private school?! But that'd mean we wouldn't go to school together anymore!" *wibble*
Milony: "You're right! Let's rumple some bedspreads!"
Those little bunnies have lived up to their fertility symbolism. Holly is expecting.
Jeevika: "Angel... want some of my doughnut?"
Angel: *snore*
I just liked this picture. It's such a true window in to what mornings are like for the twins.
Jeevika: Why does Mom keep throwing up? She's meant to be past the morning sickness stage. This isn't right!
Holly came down with food poisoning. She's still suffering from it, as well as from one of the hardest pregnancies in my game, ever. I'm actually worried about her chances of survival.
Jeevika: I hope he likes the tartlette. I can't be rejected again. Please let him like it...
.... and Strangetown's Pedo-Stalker Of the Week Award goes to Jihoon, who surprised Jeevika inappropriately from behind while she did the dishes.....
Holly: I think I threw up all the bones in my neck.....
Poor Holly. Please don't die!
.... and then more fail! The pets were very well cared for, but on this day Alvin came home from work very tired and uncomfortable, and then refused to eat, even though the pets had plenty of food in their bowl. This sucked. I was almost as upset as the family was. I hate when pets are too stupid to eat. It's the only time I ever have pets taken away.
What else happened?
Holly was promoted twice. She is now a President.
Milony became friends with Juan Harris (a BV townie).
Holly gained membership to Sue's Secret Kitchen.
Ajay gained membership to My Muse II - Art Studio.
Jeevika found Angel a job in Showbiz.
Jeevika won the SimCity Scholar's Grant.
Ajay gained a creativity point. He now has maxed creativity.
Holly gained a logic point. She now has maxed logic.
Milony had a dream date with Al Davis.
Milony became best friends with Al Davis.
Ajay gained 2 cooking points.
Milony gained membership to My Muse - Music & Dance Studio.
Milony and Al Davis started going steady.
Jeevika was rejected for private school admission twice.
Jeevika gained a cleaning point.
Ajay was promoted. He is now an Intern.
