Just dropping in for a brief visit...
I went to a wonderful concert yesterday evening: It was by a group called The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and if you get a chance to attend one of their shows then I REALLY encourage you to do so. They're a group of eight talented musicians, seven of them playing ukuleles (proper ones, not the hybrid 'banjoleles' that sometimes get called by that name...) with the eighth on bass guitar, and all of them singing at various points in the show as well, who play songs from a wide variety of styles & sources... sometimes, even, ones from several different styles & sources simultaneously!
Very musical, and very funny... :-)
(They've got a website, at www.ukuleleorchestra.com , that I've been told includes access to the video of a live performance but haven't yet had the time to check for myself...)
