(no subject)
I bought a new book today. I'm so excited, you have no idea. In fact, I'm going to start reading it right NOW. Ok well, maybe not right at the moment, but soon. I went to Barnes and Noble and you know what? They only had two book from the author that I was looking for AND I already read both of those books! Poo. So then I headed over to Borders (in the Carlsbard mall) and found the book I wanted!! The only problem was that I had only brought 20 bucks with me because I only wanted the paperback. BUT since it's still a new book, they only had it in hardcover. Bleh. So, I had to run back to my car and grab my credit card. Cha-Ching!
On my way to the car this old woman approached me and asked me something, but I couldn't understand her because she was so frustrated that she was jumbling all her words together. I was getting frustrated with her too because she wasn't making any sense! I really wanted to just walk away, but she was so persistent. Eventually, I understood what she wanted which was basically where the escalator was. Bleh. Lesson learned? Calm the fuck down before you start talking to other people.
Btw, in case you were wondering, I bought Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. He's my favorite author. =D
