I've always believed that how we are raised has a lot to do with the WAY we handle situations. I tend to freak out and stress like my father b/c that's what I've seen him do and I've learned that's the way to handle things. Our distinct Personalities are a part of Nature. The way we've been raised effects our personalities and who and what we might become, but the innate structure of our brain specifically will decide HOW we handle those situations. If that makes sense at all.. it makes sense in my head I think.

there are tons of situations that I don't know how I'll react to unless I actually experience it. I think its silly for people to think that they KNOW how they'll react to a lot of things. for example, i have no idea how I would feel if i got pregnant. would i be excited or would i freak out and have an abortion? i have no clue. i have no idea how i would act if my parents died tomorrow. would I take charge and get everything settled or would I lay in bed for hours and cry and not be able to face anyone? i have no idea. I don't know how I would feel if my boyfriend cheated on me. hell, I don't know how I would feel if I cheated on my boyfriend ( ... )
