i'm feeling beyond funky today. at least four weird dreams last night. none of them really interesting -- mostly dreams that i just want out of my brain and in lj for my own personal reference, but they were memorable if you understand that.
the first one was the second dream in a week about my friend katie from high school. in the first one she was pregnant and i didn't think too much of it, but last night it was quite vivid. we were in the archive library of some university and she was there, just sitting. celeste was with me and it was like no time had passed between the three of us. we were like sisters again and i don't know, it left a funny taste in my mouth.
there was a brief one that was spine-tingling and i woke up suddenly, clutching the necklace around my neck. have no clue was actually took place but it was really these first two that needed to be put down.
third one involved saga dave telling me that there would be no more ice cream at saga -- the machine broke and overflowed and all of us workers were trying to catch the ice cream and it wasn't working and we got all sticky. more funny than strange.
and the fourth one was definitely the funniest. i was going to see michelle, my hair-dresser, because she had borrowed a pillow from me and i wanted it back. so i got in the car and drove over to her house and she had wrapped up my pillow like it was a christmas present. and i touched the pillow and it was a portkey and it brought me to hogwarts during the sorting and i saw people i knew getting sorted -- people from ages ago, this boy i used to know in preschool...childhood friends...people from church, some from camp. and once i was there, i was home and knew that some sort of augmentation spell had to be put on me to get me to come to chicago over the break.
i swear, i don't know where my mind comes up with this kind of stuff.
i've spent my last day of freedom watching the first season of "the 4400" on usa. tonight i'm going to watch the second season opening and then watch the pilot of "lost" that i taped last wednesday. i don't want to go back to waking up and being in a schedule again.
but then again, i need it. a schedule that's busy forces me to find time to write and i wind up being more productive anyways. and now after all that pointless babble, i'm tired and going to eat. love.
