My launcher hasn't worked in so long that I've forgotten why and I don't really care. I won't be doing anything to fix it because I never liked it anyway and much prefer .packages.

Okay, so I've downloaded several custom houses from ModTheSims, but there's no guide on that site for adding custom houses on Sims 3 that aren't from the exchange. I know it's to do with the Edit Town function, but the houses I downloaded just aren't showing up (though I put the files in my "Library" folder ( Read more... )

What am I missing?  Where are all the empty placeable lots?

I've looked all over and absolutely cannot find the empty residential lots. I've a lovely lot that I can't place because either the lots already in place are too big or on the wrong axis (30x20 when I need 20x30).

I just wanna to play the damn game - why is it making me work so hard?!
