Help me please?

My game didn't update, and if I went into CAS, you couldn't change anything to do with gender, name, skintone, or body shape. So I did what EA told me, uninstall Origin and restart, install Origin and see if that makes a difference. It didn't. So I backed up all the files and uninstalled the actual game. I reinstalled it, dropped the back up files in, and the Launcher doesn't work anymore.
Please help me, I'm about to uninstall it again to see if that makes any difference.
