Incompatible game?
Hey all,
Re-installed my sims today in preparation for the new expansion (My launcher had completely borked and I was running the game via the bin). Anyway, installed all well and good and then I downloaded the patch(es) via the launcher and installed that and now I'm getting the following error:
'Your Sims 3 base game is incompatible with the current Sims 3 expansion pack. Please update your game via tyhe launcher'.
Problem is, my launcher says my game is up to date, and all links of google leading me to the 'solution' are leading to a broken link on the EA site.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Also, my current game version according to the launcher is: 4.5.6.009001
Ih ave the base game, World Adventures and Ambitions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at the launcher, the different game versions:
Base Game: 1.12.70.006002
WA: 2.0.86.002002
AMB: 4.5.6.009001
