Alright so I'm heading to Virginia on Thursday to go to a family wedding. What makes it kinda weird is that EVERY member of the Hoover family will be there. EVERY SINGLE ONE. which means that I may be meeting some people that I don't know. But I'm sure it'll be a fun time. Us Hoovers usually know how to party it up! Heh.

Also, I learned something new. I sort of learned it a while ago, but I'm putting it down now because I want to, and to inform all you future-college peepzies. Up until I went to college, I never understood why no one ever ate in their dining halls. They always complained about not having any money because they ate at the diner or the SC all the time. I was always like, "Why the heck don't you just eat at the dining halls, silly???" Well, I found out why.

And the reason is...

1. The food is't that good. And it varies from place to place, but mainly it's all the same. If, for example, one were to go eat at Blanton Hall in my school, they would find, to their distaste, that the food is only as "good" as normal cafeteria food might be. Freeman dining hall (that's mine) has some good food, but the selection is terribly small, as is the hall itself.

2. There really is no time. When you're in a hurry, you want to go to a place where you know you can get food in a hurry, eat it, and take it with you if need be. And the university dining halls will only allow you to take out fruit and ice cream. THAT'S IT. Plus, if you don't live near any of the dining halls, it just makes it that much more out of your way to go to one when the SC is near everything!

3. You have a fridge! Because of this, it smartest choice would be to simply sleep later, get ready, and grab something from your fridge to eat on the way to, or in class because unlike high school you're allowed to eat and drink in class at college.

Heh so that's one thing I learned from college *yesss!*

Oh, and when they warn you not to gain the Freshman 15....they don't just mean from alcohol. You eat CONSTANTLY while at college. Whether you like it or not, you do. And it's ALWAYS there, taunting you. So BEWARE!!!!!!!! Heh.

Ugh, dance class beckons. I need it. Just ate a small bag of soy chips. Argh.
