Maplecliffe BaCC Week 10: Foster
As with the Browns, we start off the Fosters' week by continuing the practice of wishing for money from the genie. We need that university, dammit!
And then the twins head down to Foster Electronics to get their weekly shop time in. First customer is whysimswhy's Collie Doxie.
Um, no. Collie was the daughter of Florence Doxie in their own legacy, so in a way, Glittergleam is attracted to her own half sister. Eesh. This may be a small town, Glitter, but there are lots more girls to choose from. You don't need to resort to dating your sister.
callaina's Andrew Tzatziki does not think the girls deserve their award. He thinks their shop STINKS! And apparently he's all about letting everyone else know it too.
More wishing for money when they get home!
Both girls have wants to get the alien abduction scholarship, so they spend most of their time outside at night looking through the telescope. Unfortunately, this household has some especially angry ghosts. They each get scared at least a couple times a night. I'm surprised neither of them has died of fright. Stupid ghosts. This one isn't even anyone they know! He just happened to drop dead one day while walking by the place. Not their fault!
Glittergleam: Excuse me! I need to mourn my dog in THIS. EXACT. SPOT.
Glittergleam: Ugh, fine. I guess this sub-par spot will have to do. *starts bawling*
Well, at least she got to the right reaction in the end.
People deal with grief in different ways.
Glittergleam wants more than just boring nights at home with her sister, so she invites helpimbethany's Daliah over, and things seem to be going pretty well!
...Then again, maybe not.
More scares for both girls, including one from engram_au's Fenchurch. I'm sorry! You weren't supposed to die! Maybe we should have saved a wish to bring her back.
Both girls are ridiculously hard to take care of right now, because all they want to do is get into college and get that stupid alien scholarship. Their other wants are either too difficult to do or are worth nothing, so their aspirations are always very low green. And sometimes red, as Glittergleam is displaying now. She ruined that phallic painting, and then attacked her sister. Fortunately/unfortunately, the game crashed in between these events, so neither sister has any recollection of this fight.
Things are still going strong with sixamsims's Uxi, but as they're still teens, there's no moving in just yet. We'll wait until they reach adulthood.
This will also hopefully give Uxi time to get over his apparent crush on his GIRLFRIEND'S SISTER. Bad Uxi! Bad! *swats nose with newspaper*
Glittergleam tries it again with Daliah, but things get off to a rocky start when Daliah breaks the news to her that she hates grilled cheese. You can see the shock and disbelief on Glitter's face. Poor Glitter.
But apparently they can get past their (giant) differences of the cheesy toast variety.
Or again, maybe not. Dammit, Daliah! Stop being such a tease! Do you like her or not?!
Ok, this bitch has got to go. First she's all hot and cold with our girl, and then she steals their money?! GET OUT AND NEVER COME BACK!
So when I have Glitter say goodbye to her, this is how they do it. *headdesk* I've got nothing. I give up.
Sorry, Glitter. You can't have Kewpie (bondchick_nett) either. How about try being attracted to someone who:
a) isn't sort of related to you
b) isn't a giant tease, and
c) isn't taken by someone else in the hood
After almost a week with no abductions, I started wondering if the process was borked or something, so I had to resort to using the green telescope. At least abduction still works!
Poor Glitter.
Marika's turn!
Hey, you guys wanted this. Don't give me that look.
I also noticed that neither of them got pregnant, even though I swear I had the female alien pregnancy hack. So I fudged it a little.
And then accelerated them.
Instant baby time! Glitter has a boy named Avv'ok, and Marika has a girl named Fluve.
Apparently two babies requires two nannies. Great. Twice the price for no work done.
Fire! Luckily, she put it out very efficiently.

Avv'ok is adorable! He almost has an Ontario look to him.
Fluve is...interesting. Hopefully she'll grow into that chin.
And now for the adults! I really like Glitter's chin. She's so cute.
As is Marika. Florence's looks live on in her daughters.
