This post won't be very interesting, but I guess slightly informative. I started my new placement on Monday at BMMS. Eighth graders aren't so bad, in fact... I kind of like them! I prefer them to the seniors, I guess that is because I led that Washington trip, I just know how to handle them better and relate to them. They're still very simplistic and still relatively interested in the teacher as a person. They're very little. :) Yvonne will be a dear to work with, next week will better because we will have a normal week (we had screwy schedules with state testing this week). I've had the apartment primarily to myself. I love being alone sometimes, makes it feel like a little break. My body is adjusting to running and seeming tighter to me already. YAYUH. My birthday is tomorrow, and my sibs are on their way down at this very minute to help me celebrate. I haven't celebrated my birthday with my real family since high school, but I've spent it with friends that make up my home-away-from-home family, and that is just as special (exotic too! Bahamas, FL, Ireland). I'm pumped to have them there, I think it will be a lot of Drosdick antics, as we are so well-known for as a family. No trips to the hospital and I'll be satisfied. :-P Sorry so boring. Oh, but you notice that I didn't mention Dennis coming for my birthday. Right. That's because he's not coming. :(
