Loooooser!
My brother can be so annoying sometimes. XD Seriously. He did something earlier that was funny, but... gah, I wanted to whack him after it was over with.
You see, my friend from England (Mel) and her family called us a few minutes ago here at my grandparent's house, and I was so happy! They just wanted to say hi and wish us a Happy Thanksgiving, which was really nice and thoughtful. However, almost as soon as I started talking to Mel, my brother got on another phone and began to listen to our conversation and interrupt us a lot. I know that he was only joking, and he did say a lot of hilarious stuff (Mel and I were both laughing) but he was being loud, and it just got old after a while. >_<; I finally hunted him down and chased him off, but that was hard and inconvenient to do since the house is big and they have a ton of phones. He later got on again, though, and it took forever before he finally got off! I just found it to be quite annoying because they were paying for the call, and I didn't want any of the time to be wasted... I'm just tired of how immature he acts sometimes, you know? XD I guess that's how brothers are, though.
Oh well. It was still really cool to talk to Mel again; I also chatted with her mother for a few minutes, and then her dad talked to my grandfather. (My grandmother would have talked, as well, but she was taking a nap. XD) It was a really nice surprise when we picked up the phone and heard their pretty British accents! ♥
Anyway, along with that, everything else today has gone really well. ^__^ We had a great meal, with plenty of turkey and dressing. My grandmother also made and bought several different kinds of pie, so I totally stuffed myself, lol. I actually ended up getting a stomach ache, but I managed to clean the kitchen mostly by myself afterwards! Go me. *thumbs up*
I should probably go now, since I have some babysitting left to do, but I just had to rant about my interesting life for a while. XD Yes, it's too late for you people to tell me to get my butt offline, haha. Bye for now!
