Gosh, I just love your stories.

I must say - I think these are the *best* House/Wilson I've read...it's so natural, and very believable.

The idea of House finally getting the appropriate surgery done is leaps and bounds out of his character, but I think it had to take Wilson, and probably years of struggling parenthood with the cane to finally change his mind, not the mention the sheer amount of pain that it increased as he grew older.

I think I'm the only one who does these two things - but I worry about House, his health and all - and I also have a slight soft spot for Stacy. She doesn't seem all that much of a bad person. It's confusing.

But back to your fics - keep them going, I'll dread the day you stop. I love Church, he's very sexy sounding (and I mean that in the politest way possible), everything from his name to his demeanor.

:D Please excuse me, I ramble.

I'm concerned with House's health as well. He's at increased risk for another clot, on top of the damage the vicodin and drinking must be doing to his liver. Often watching the show I wonder why they don't address the fact that his life is possibly going to be very short. You'd think someone would bring it up at least trying to convince him to get off his ass and enjoy his days, stop wallowing.

Everyone thinks he's going to live a very long time, but I highly doubt it...I'm of the belief that the only way the show will end is his death. And seeing as they're only signed on for two more years...

I'm sure the last season he will come to terms of what he has done to himself, and see that he shouldn't done the things he did...and then it'll be too late.

But that's awfully romantic of me.

*butting in* I agree. He's so self-destructive, and everything he does is an attempted suicide, some things are just going to kill him slower than others.

Right. And if we can see it, you think the people who live with the man would notice too :p

It's always easier to ignore it - or blame it on something else. Or deny it. Until it actually happens - and then they realize something should have been done.

It's all a very sad situation.

Oh, wow, thank you. That's very humbling. *blush*

Yes, exactly, the surgery is just an outward symbol of the changes that have occurred within. Not that he isn't the same old bastard he always was, but maybe he's just a little bit smarter about it.

No, I worry about him too, because I fear that the drugs and alcohol and everyone's blase attitude toward his drug use (except when he isnt acting how they want him to act)is going to destroy him in the end. He really is a self-destructive man, and something has to happen to turn that around.

I hope to continue for a VERY long time. I really have fun doing these, and talking with everyone who takes the time to read them. *laughing* Well, I try to make him sexy, although he can never be called handsome or even pretty. I hope to make him interesting.

Thank you, very much!

I forget what episode it was, but he got hung up about getting something to drink (I think it was coffee) and eventually smashed the lock on the hospital cafe to get in to the coffee machine. And not in the sneaky way he tried to get into Cuddy's desk, this was outright violence. The fellows were standing right there, but no-one seemed to get upset and it didn't get mentioned agian. I don't care how guilty Cuddy feels or how good a doctor he is - that's pretty extreme behavior.

Yes, I remember that! And Foreman kind of said something, but no one else really commented on it. And what about the LSD? Wtf? And nothing was really said about the Christmas Eve debacle, either. And they're not really helping him at all by letting him continue to get on with it.

Oh please - if House is his daddy and Cuddy is his mommy - those are some winning genes ( ... )

Oh definitely good genes, but he doesn't consider himself to be attractive...and of course I get his version in my head ^^ The rest of the family thinks he's gorgeous, but they are biased.

No worries, I like long comments ^^

And yeah, the way he deals with children is what started me even thinking this way, that he would treat a child more like an adult, bc he gives everyone the same amount of (dis)respect.

Hah, I know that feeling. Sometimes it hurts to be stuck at work, when I really just want to get a fic on paper so it'll quit stabbing me ^^

Again, no worries, it's not a problem.
