Wow, it's been awhile...
Well, it sure has been a while. Where do I start?
Well, I got accepted into music school for Music Production and Audio Engineering. OSAP agreed to pay for pretty much the entire course. 1st Term started Feb 5th.
OSAP decided to cut back my funding because I have a job. That job is 2 shifts a week (every sat & sun) which barely covers my GO pass and TTC pass (just over $300) and my gas. Course costs $16,800 and OSAP decided to take back about half that. I went for about 8 weeks of class. I was sitting in the recording studio one day, listening to my prof. talk about condensor microphones, and different polar patterns when I realized I had absolutely no interest in what he was saying. It then occured to me I felt that way about all my classes.
I decided to drop out because I hated what I was doing. I only need to pay $2,500 for the 8 weeks instead of the whole $16,800. Yeah it's good i only need to pay that...But I can't begin to tell you how...empty you feel when you find out something you've dreamed about for like ever ends up being a total letdown.
My car is about to break down...and probably for good this time.
I did my taxes...and I OWE the government like $800.
Somehow I ALWAYS get fucked over one way or another.
Man, it's only March and already i've been an incredibly shitty year.
