SPRING BREAK!!!
Well it's the first day of Spring Break and I am up 9:30 in the morning. Is there something wrong with this picture? Especially after getting 3 hours of sleep the night before thanks to Ms. Garcia and her research paper. Well this week could not have come soon enough! I wish I could say I was going somewhere fun over break, somewhere where it's actually sunny and warm and not pouring down rain, but I'm not. I'm here in rainy Salem, Oregon until Sunday, then off to the rainy Oregon Coast for a few days with the family. But I am very much looking forward to the time off - no soccer, no track, NO COLLEGE WRITING! Unfortunately I have a TON of stuff to get caught up on for Oly Pageant...uhhh...like maybe getting my talent figured out, music put together and choreographed and like 50 thanks yous to write! This is all stressing me out alot so on a happier note - I went to the lacrosse game last night. It was actually a close game! (They played West Salem) but they lost 5-4. I was very excited to see some college friends there. I saw Matt Mazur-Hart and Mario as I was walking out to the fields (and for those of you who didn't see Matt at school on Friday when he dropped by with Phil and Jon, he has long hair and like a full beard - it's great!) Then I saw Ashford and Williamson leaving - I wasn't really friends with them, but they recognized me and said hi. And then...I get over to the sidelines and I see Tyler! I haven't seen any of those boys (Tyler, Kyle, Ryan, Caleb, Brad), all the ones that I spent like my entire summer with, forever! So I talked with him and his friend Ben for the whole game. (Jamie - they're going to Seaside for a few days over break! haha...but he assured me it wouldn't be like last time!) But yes...it was a good way to start off the break, even though it was pouring down rain and freezing cold. That's about it for now - I hope you all have a great spring break!!!
