Always remember to use your turn signals in Dallas!

So I'm in Dallas last night with Jamie, Vanessa and Michelle and we are on our way to Buckley's from the Mr. Dallas pageant (which was very fun by the way! I though Buck's chef skit was great, especially since he never practiced it once and Eric's drum solo was AMAZING) Anyways - I am following Buckley to his house and I see flashing lights behind me so I pull over, hoping it wasn't me he was pulling over. Oh don't worry, it was. He asks me for my license and registration and I don't know which piece of paper is the registration. I pulled one out and gave it to him and he's like uhhh that's your proof of insurance. But I finally found it. While I'm looking he informs me that the reason he pulled me over was that "I failed to use my turn signal" Damn Dallas cops have nothing better to do with their time! Luckily he didn't give me a ticket because I explained that I was following a friend and didn't know where I was going. So he told me "this was just a warning and to next time use my turn signal. And to take my half of the road out of the right side, and not out of the middle" I am proud to say however, that it was the first time I had ever been pulled over in my entire life. The thing that makes this ever funnier is that when we first got to the school, there was no parking except in a fire zone (where other people were parallel parked) so I parked there as well. About five minutes before I get pulled over, Vanessa and I are walking to my car, which is the last one left in the fire zone and a cop pulls directly up to it. I start freaking out because I don't want him to give me a ticket, but he only paused for a few seconds (probably to get my plate #) and left. So TWO almost-tickets in one night! actually in like 5 minutes. So that was my excitement for the weekend. I am now of to Miss Michelle's 18th Birthday party! Hope you all have a great weekend and good luck getting your college writing papers done!
