She's doing so well... she's breathing on her own, and the doctors say that she should be just sleeping by now, like close to the REM stage or something like that. The nurse told me this morning that they will be taking Liz off the machine tonight. Another doctor (whom might be the one that David had asked to come) will be looking her over and making sure that she will be able to breath on her own. He should be here in about an hour.

I hardly moved at all today. I mostly laid here, next to Liz, and the nurses seem to be okay with it. I offered to help them with giving Liz a sponge bath, but they wouldn't let me. I actually left the hospital for a while this morning, because I needed to go back to the flat and get a few things. I left a Cd player going next to her while I was gone, and made sure it was playing music I knew she liked. Mostly songs that we both love (like the Beatles, Voltaire, and some of my stuff).
